Human
Resource Development Award (HURDA),
an initiative of Soulmedia Communications Ltd, according to the
Managing
Director, Sunny Nkemsinachi Davids, is designed to honour those
Nigerians and organizations that have contributed to human development
for the overall
growth of the country.
Davids
stated that the human factor is the most important in nation building,
stressing that “once the human element of development is right, all
other things will fall in place and this country will achieve the
greatness that is being touted for long.”
In
a press release made available to our correspondent, Davids also
disclosed that the awards ceremony will be a special delight.

Magazine now African Strides, in its three years of existence strives
to report the people and economic factors in the development of west
African regions and beyond.”
According to the MD this edition of the award shall take place in Abuja come December 10th 2012.
Distinguished
Nigerians for the HURDA award this year include His Excellency Sen. Ike
Ekweremmadu, His Excellency Sen. Bukar Ibrahim, Prof Barth Nnaji, Sen
Musa Ibrahim, Chief EzenwoNyeson Nwike Ho. Minister of state for
education, Akinwumi Adesina the Hon. of Agric, Dr. Dere Awosika, Pof.
Okojie ES NUC, Prof. M.I Junaid, ES NCCE, Brigadier General Nnamdi
Okore, DG NYSC, Prof. Stan Anih, Barr. S. Osahon, Minkachi Funnah Hills
